Still have teams? I want in. I'd like San Diego, Oakland, or San Francisco.

I would recommend that everyone get to see the file before they pick their franchise players, however, if general opinion is that we should do it blind, definitely let me know as otherwise I would be able to release the file today.

I'm going to update the list of available teams in just a moment. Can't wait to get started!

the way the historical imports are off sometimes, I'd much prefer to be able to see the file first, also gives us a chance to research the draft ahead of time so we can start quicker once full

I agree griffey, that's probably best. I am going to put a link up for the file today if there is no major opposition.

Is there an expected date for all of this to start? And do you know when you will have the league rules up?

I am trying to leave no stone unturned so I am hoping to finish the rules by tomorrow. Since there is no AL or NL, but rather Eastern and Western Conferences, my original inclination is to have DH in both conferences, there will be plenty of talent to go around a league of 24 to make that feasible. I need to fill the 9 remaining teams, install statslab and would like to start moving on a draft next week. I would not be opposed to a live draft, which would still allow those who can't make it to put together a list in StatsLab. (StatsLab is a such a nice feature)

I would encourage everybody to sign up at ULB (United League Baseball) - Home

There is a topic where I ask everyone to post their name, e-mail, IM if applicable, and team name. Please do that ASAP so I can make sure everyone is still on board so I know how close we are to filled.

They're all yours. Go ahead and register at ULB (United League Baseball) - Home and post in the owner information thread in the Commissioner's Desk forum.

Cincinatti, Toronto, Milwaukee, and Orlando are available. (March Madness has slowed the fill this weekend )

John Jaha and Troy O'Leary locked in at their small salaries from '94 would be a good start. John Jaha and Troy O'Leary are actually rated pretty high. You're welcome to check out the file and reference the '94 Brewers at 1994 Milwaukee Brewers Batting, Pitching, & Fielding Statistics - Baseball-Reference.com . I didn't even look at the OOTP rating for the pitchers from that team but that's better than the options that some teams have.

Just noticed that OOTP was very generous to Jamie Navarro, might want to check him out too. (Milwaukee Brewers 1994)

Milwaukee, Cincinatti, Denver, and Orlando are available. (Had an owner switch to Toronto from Denver). Once we fill up, we'll be ready to go!
