99% Accurate 1871 NA 1871-2010 mlb

I am in the process of creating a 99% accurate 1871 NA league which will become 1871-2010 mlb.

So far all teams are 100% accurate with No Pepper NA jersey set

I am working on making sure owners and managers are accurate, i havent decided what to do yet with coaches and scouts.

Let me know if u r interest6ed i plan on posting an uploading.com link and send it to padresfan also.

i will leave it predraft but am not 100% sure that without an AL league it will work. I deleted the AL after league creation and moved the teams to the NA that belong there.

let me know what else might be needed.
When i play the league i plan on having good players on the Chicago White Stockings and eventually on the White Sox. so i will not draft the players to their accurate teams, but you can.

i do need a photo set that has accurate ballparks i have 1 but not sure if it has all parks.

and once i make this a quickstart will it keep the stadiums in it?

i will not put in the accurate logos, jerseys, caps, player photos beyond the setup to keep this file small. all files can be found on here or on Padresfan.

so far i put in Gambo's player photos for 1871/1872 and 1871 teams from No Pepper's NA set.

forgot to add that i am adding a Triple A league so players can develop vs having just a reserve roster. delete it if u want. I am using AAA teams from 2009/2010 and matching them up by the city. for the NA Washington Olympics affiliate will be the Nats triple A team. with logos, jerseys, caps. and not accurate coaches.

I have acquired some old b/w park photos (e.g. Congress Street Grounds, Lake Front Park, Exposition Park, etc). I would be willing to send them on to you for your project. Just need your email address.

Cheers,

dcc

I play historical fictional ((historical teams, fictional players) from 1871 National Association to present day. The default historical start-up in OOTP does not accurately reflect actual historical structure and expansion so I have manually manage it myself. Good luck with this project!

What if a team is successful in your history, when in real life, their existence depended on a winning record (1885 Providence Grays come to mind - one bad year out of eight and poof). Do they (the team) disappear?

While some teams folded because of their records/attendance, many more teams (and a few leagues) came and went based on managements bad financial dealings (on and off the field).

I expand and contract according to history. I however do make provisions to weaken those teams that did not perform well according to history. Additionally, the American Association, the Union Association and the Players Leagues are separate leagues in my universe and expand, contract and fold according to history with the appropirate teams migrating to the N.L. as their respective leagues folded. Example the Cincinnati Reds and the Brooklyn Grays/Bridegrooms/Grooms from the A.A.
