Now all of that said, I'm 100% indifferent about moving those waived guys to their new teams - if most people wanted it, we can do it, but otherwise we'll likely leave things as is. It's easy enough to move those three players in commish mode anyway. |

Weird, and kinda funny...Cincy owner Bob Castellini was apparently born in some place called "Comendador (Elias Pina), Dominican Republic".
I don't even know what to make of that...Pretty sure he is from Cincinnati, or at the very least, not Dominican.

With scouting off I have to say the ratings are well done. I don't have the urge to go changing. So that's good.
I MIGHT up Francoeur's arm a bit. I'd submit the video from Sunday's game as evidence. He simply has one of the strongest, most accurate OF arms in the game. But that's easy enough to change if I want to. Good work all around. Thanks |

c.c sabathias stats always plumet during his second or third season with the yanks. his pitches vgo from 94-96 to 86-88 for no reason. Also i think arod should be bumped up a notch in contact. He consistently hits around 300.

Matt Thornton is projected to have a 8.8 K/9 with the default roster set, despite sitting at 10.3 and 10.8 K/9 in each of the last two years. He's also projected to give up 1 HR/9, despite posting HR/9 of .6, .7 and .6 in the last three years. Thornton has been one of the best relievers in baseball the past few seasons (and arguably the best lefties reliever), but in OOTP he's roughly the same pitcher as Kyle Farnsworth, which is very far from the truth.
I'd also dispute Mark Buehrle's ratings, but his K/9, BB/9 and HR/9 all seem about right. He's obviously a better pitcher than the results OOTP gives him (considering he's only had an ERA of his projected 4.36 once in his career), but bumping his ratings would make his rate stats unrealistic. I imagine he's in the same situation as Blackburn, who was mentioned previously in the thread.

A few observations.....
First, I see people talking about stat projections. How do you view these in OOTP 11? I've played OOTP 10 and don't remember them at all.....
In terms of roster stuff Carlos Monasterios is a Rule 5 draftee and is on the real Dodgers roster but is in AA on the game. Thanks! |

One at the Trade Deadline would be good. Also after the Draft is over but have the people not signed yet. I would take all Retired people not in the Hall Fame yet and put them on the Free-Agent Market to see if anybody signs them or just retire.

Jamie Garcia is the (major league) Cardinals' fifth starter. He was given that job before opening day.

Acosta was claimed before OD, but the others occurred afterwards.

Tim Lincecum, after his first two full seasons earned him two Cy Youngs, and ootp has him at 65 of his potential 78. Seems like he might be closer to his potential already.
And not that it matters in game, but the only way he weighs 170lb is while he's holding a sack of potatoes! |

Guys, be aware if you have scouting on, you aren't seeing a player's true ratings; your scout might be wrong. Lincecum is certainly an 80 OVR in the game!
