OOTP on Acer One?

I want to get a relatively inexpensive laptop to just play OOTP X on. I was looking at the Acer One. It uses a N450 processor, Windows 7, 160GB hd and a 1024x600 screen. Will this work well?

Thanks. If this is in the wrong area, please let me know.

The only issue I see with it is the screen resolution. You may be able to get OOTP to work on it, but you may not like the trouble you have to go through to get do it. See this post for more.

You also didn't mention RAM which might be an issue.

OOTP XI needs 1024 x 600 resolution.

I used a netbook for OOTP X and I had a program that changed the resolution to the required 1024 x 768. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called though

EDIT: Astray. Figures, as soon as I post I remember it. I will say that the resolution was alittle fuzzy because the hardware wasn't ready for that high a resolution. The computer itself handled the game well enough, but after moving to a full sized laptop the speed difference was amazing. I wouldn't make the switch to the netbook unless absolutely necessary/

I fully agree. I'd love to be able to run OOTP on my netbook.

I connected my netbook to my Sony Bravia Hi-DEF tv and it ran really well. But disconected, no dice.
