Simply put...

player says "You had your chance!"
click again "(another message similar to that)"
click again "That's a good offer!"

I guess persistance pays off.

might be a one-player thing, but i thought i'd point it out.

That happened in v4 too if you increased your offer by enough. But most of the time, you have to pay a lot more than the player was asking for originally to get him to sign, if he's already told you that you have no chance.
