Create custom game

Is there any way to create a custom game with actual players? I want to create a game that include MLB and ***, but sadly, real players are replaced by fictional players.
BTW, how to open .dat files? (team.dat, player.dat, etc.)

I can't help you with the .dat files, but...

Create a 2009 MLB game. Go into the Game Setup > League Setup screen and click the Add League button. You can add the Japanese League from there, though it will get fictional players.

is there anyway to change the team logo in an existing game?

For the Japanese roster, I can't help you there either.

Logos are simple. Find the new logo you want and put it into OOTP > saved_games> YourGame.lg > news > html > images with the proper name such as Boston_Red_Sox.png.
