Game frozen - wont "finish today"

I am playing the OOTP 9 demo and advancing through my 1st season.....i still have 3 days left on my trial and the game froze on Aug 1! it will not let me advance through the rest of the day so i can continue. Every time I press the finish today button it just sits there on Aug 1 and does nothing. I tried shutting down and reloading but nothing happened....anybody have any ideas?

If you look through the FAQs it notes that the demo is for 1.5 seasons if you use fictional players, however if you use the MLB quickplay (with real players) the simulation will stop on Aug 1. I'm guessing this is what you're experiencing because I experienced the same thing when I first tried the demo. Best of luck.
