Problem with Loading Custom Logos
I've been working on logos for various teams in my fictional league. I have done probably more than 25, but when I tried to load my most recent, I got an error message: "Couldn't save the file! Probably the file is in use or write protected?" The Help button on the error message causes the program to lock up. I then tried re-saving the file, same message. Then I tried loading a file I had previously loaded successfully, and got the same error message. I've tried loading different logos on different teams, same error message. I removed some thinking their might be a limit to the number you can change. It did not help, and now I can't reload those same logos.
Cap logos and Jersey logos work fine, but I cannot load any Team logos. I am using 9.2.13 on an iMac with OS X 10.4.11, 2.16 GHz duo, 1 GB of memory and 3.5 GBs of free storage. Thanks for the help, Steve GM, Pylos Pagans |

I get the feeling no one is going to be able to help me with this.

I don't have a Mac, but you should be able to go into your leagues' images folder and delete the ones you want to replace. Name the new ones the exact same way, put them in the leagues' images folder and they should automatically show up when you start your game.

A Way Around The Problem
Thanks for the reply truthserum. You are right. It is possible to delete the file, once you have found it. The path to the folder in my case was very similar to this:
/Users/Me/Documents/Out Of The Park Developments/OOTP 9/saved_games/league name.lg/news/html/images Not very easy to find. (Some names were changed to protect the innocent). Once I delete the file, then I can save the new image through the OOTP program. The problem seems to be, that once you have saved a logo for a team, the program views that file as locked. And it has to be manually removed. If you changed the name of the team, there is no problem, because it creates a new file with the new team name. Hopefully this will be helpful to any other Mac users who create logos for their teams. |

Did you have the game and league file loaded when you placed the custom logo in the news/html/images folder? I ran into the same problem when I loaded custom images and once I closed the game, the logos copied over with no problem. Maybe....just maybe....this helps.
