weird issue w/ draft list, available player list...

when i go to a draft list or a list in the transaction menu (free agents, show all players, etc) i only see pitchers. there are no batters shown. i chose to show batters and nothing appears. what did i do wrong here? how can i correct this?
i did have the game crash when i chose scouting director in a draft list for a new league that i am part of. that happened a few days ago. i just noticed this no batter being shown issue today. this is so strange.

There position tab is probably set to "All Pitchers" Try pressing the arrow to change it.

that is what i am saying...the batter options don't produce any batters. only the pitchers tab works. pitchers show up and batters do not.

Clear the filters. Even if you think you haven't set one, clear it.

i have all the filters cleared. i have tried everything. nothing is working.
it's the same thing in each of my leagues. this is very strange.
how does an uninstall and then a reinstall work with this game? with the elicense and all? and with the leagues that i have going on right now, do i just save them to another location and then place them back into saves folder after the reinstall?
