Well done to the Phillies, and take good care of that trophy we've lent you for a season

Nothing to say. Feeling weirdly apathetic about this, which is weird after rooting for so many horrible Phillies teams since the mid 80's.

It would be nice to see a repeat of this series next year, maybe a month earlier and with local broadcasters (depending on venue).

San Diegoans would rather put their time in walking their dogs and cleaning up their ****e than watch baseball.

What's on the beach is probably pretty distracting too.

What do you guys mean repeat? We already know who is winning the Wolrd Series next year. Lets see if you can complete this pattern. 1997. 2003. 2009?

My computer died last night, so I couldn't get get on here until right now. It's 11:15 in the morning, and the smile still hasn't left my face. 24 years I've been waiting for this, and it couldn't feel any better.

GO PHILLIES....WE DID IT!!!!

I think I've figured out what the apathy is caused by...no Harry Kalas. Fox really needs to use the home team's crew for each game. Hearing Harry yell "STRUCK 'IM OUT, AND YOUR PHILLIES ARE 2008 WORLD CHAMPIONS" would have made it sink in a little more I think.

That is probably a good idea, but what happens when the White Sox make it back to the World Series?

Yep...first time I heard his call, it gave me a chill and I almost cried.

On Monday night, I tried tuning in the radio broadcast and discovered for some reason it wasn't so far out in front of the Fox television broadcast. It was a bit ahead of the television screen, but not awfully so. So I got to hear Harry Kalas make the call and then see Hinske swing and miss.

It's great that Kalas finally got to call, live, the Phillies winning the World Series.

Congrats to the Phillies. They really turned it on down the stretch and didn't let up, and that's a good way to win the World Series (see that, my Mets? That is how you finish off a season).

As long as the Cubs continue to not be included in the list I agree with you.
