Computer Taking Over Decisions

Here's my OOTP7 question: Why is it that when I set my starting rotation and lineups, the computer changes them? I'm set up as the franchise's manager, yet when I sim games, the computer apparently changes the pitchers and lineups? Should this be happening? Am I doing something wrong? It also moves players up and down from the minors.

Thanks for your help!

Depends are you really the GM or only acting as. Second what are your settings on your manager page. Do you control line up moves or does the AI?

I'll take a look at this. I realize it can occur when I switch to make a move for another team, however, shouldn't it stay the same as long as I'm making the moves as the GM for the given team?

Thanks again.

Act as only lets you do things in that moment and the second you sim, the computer takes back over. you need to be hired as the GM to prevent this. Then it comes down to what setting you have in your manager profile.

When viewing your team, click on "Home" then click on "Options and Ballpark" then place a tick mark in the box beside Roster AI "Prevent any AI roster changes".
