That would be ideal the 9:30 one, be able to watch it when I got home from work.

What I'd really like to do is just have a couple of hours off work and make it up somehow, I only work like 5 minutes from the JJB can even see the stadium if I walk to the car park at work so ideally I'd like to go watch the game and then go to work soon as the final whistle blew lol.

As long as there is no beer involved that would seem to be fine. Hope your employers are sane and reasonable about things.

Setanta are building up quite a nice array of sports now imo. If the only thing you are into is English football then they're not for you, but if you're like me and like all sports, they are getting more coverage for more sports. I just hope they don't do an ITV Digital.

Because you know I still like Mark "Tex" Teixeira even if he didn't reply to my stupid letter. IMO, saying things like that is not very nice.

I can't really deliver any horrible disease to MT (or anyone else) but shouldnt he have to pay a price for the bad karma he created?

If the letter was sent to Texas then he may not get it until he reports for the regular season, by all accounts the best time to get autos from them is send them to spring training as they have hours of boredom time. I sent mine about a month or two into the season, I did get a reply from the Rangers but the best replies I got were the Mets, Yankees, Indians, Padres, Brewers, Expos, Devil Rays even though it was the season before they started playing they sent me some stuff.

Had to laugh at the Yankees reply as I sent the letter to Bob Watson and asked for some autos but instead he sent me loads of stuff media guides, yearbooks and so on but sent me an auto pic of himself thought it was bit vein of him but he was cool to send me the stuff he did.

He snubbed you. He didnt have five minutes to scribble a quick reply and sign a photo? Is he to busy running the free world?? Me thinks there might be a disconnect between his public persona and his private one. His behaviour wasnt friendly and it hurt your feelings.

Well I don't know if it even got to him, do I? It could have got lost in the post somewhere, or the Rangers media relations could have ripped it up even deliberately/accidently. And he doesn't even owe me a reply anyway - after all he is only a baseball player, on a team thousands of miles away from me. As I said earlier, I will still be a fan of his.

Anyway, I didn't mean to take this thread OT with this. I only put what I did as a throwaway comment, because Sammy is doing better than a lot of people thought he would. But to say what you did was very crass and stupid, bababui, imo.

Next time, I'll not bother trying to make jokes - they obviously don't come across well from me.
