I don't blame Loaiza for this; I blame 1) Chavez, for not turning the double play, and 2) Macha, for letting him pitch the 6th when he already had Gaudin warming the inning before.
EDIT: Your avatar is TT, BTW. Carney is possibly my favorite A of all time. Last edited by Green & Gold Heart; 10-11-2006 at 11:23 PM. |

On a positive note, I did earn rights to buy World Series tickets at 9 a.m. Thursday. Do you think my students will notice me feverishly slugging away with the Tickets.com system?

Could be worse, it could be Steve Grilli, Less Moss could be managing and I could be having an acid flash back.
All things considered, I'll stick with Jason Grilli.

In case I haven't said it before (and I haven't) - bully for him. Nice to see the rebound this year.

Of course, it would be just like the A's to go to Detroit, win 2 of 3 (or all 3) and than come back to Oakland and really blow it in Game 6 or 7.

I really wish bad things on D'Angelo Jimenez. I'd feel bad about this, but he's a tool in addition to being completely useless on a baseball field.
I want Kiger in. He might suck, too, but at least I don't already hate him. |

You still may get a shot a Todd Jones in this one. I affectionately refer to him as 'Gas Can'.
