City Names for managers
There's an issue where if you want to create a manager from a city, like Troy, New York, OOTP will enter his origin as being from Troy, Michigan. It doesn't matter if you enter NY, PA, OH or any other Troy, the origin always defaults to Troy, Michigan, even if you enter the state along with the city.

Hmm, yes, the player/personnel editor probably needs a Select Exact City dropdown box like the team options page has...

That would fix it.

Home towns
I was adding home towns to an imported league I have and I noticed when you put a town in, if it's a town name that is in more than one state, it just adds the town from the same state every time. Augusta is one that comes to mind. I tried adding the state abbreviation but it did no good.

Merged some related threads.
I know this remains an issue, but unfortunately, Markus will not be able to fix this until the next full release. ![]() Sorry for the bad news... Steve |
