I'm sorry if I misunderstood. I thought the player modifiers were for NEWLY created players (amateur draft, etc) and not the minor leaguers currently in the game. The guys I'm seeing dominate the league are top prospects and not newly created guys. I'm sorry if I misread it somewhere.

This is a beta version and the minor leaugers are going to be edited shortly. This is a well known issue which Cubby has addressed and there's a lot of useful information throughout the thread on the rosters as a whole. Doesn't take too much time to keep up to date on the posts here

I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to read through 1,321 posts to get up-to-date on the rosters.

My confusion came from this post:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...9&postcount=18

I thought this post meant that the issue was more about the computer generated players. Sorry for the confusion, I didn't know it was about the minor leaguers in the game.

I remember you mentioning it but I can't find it when I go back -- what should I do to fix things?

No worries. It's a lot of the more recent posts that have been talking about this stuff, so I meant more keeping up to date with the latest news about the rosters as opposed to reading the whole thread

Thanks for all the hard work! Does the corrected color scheme mean the tables are back?

question about the injuries...i no a lot of em r set up to replicate real life but the game starts on Jan 2 so some of these injuries expire before ST even starts...someone like prior or wood are back in plenty of time when in real life, which i think u r goin for, they missed time...also some of these injuries people didnt go into the season with...i remember sabathia got hurt on opening day for one

i found another problem ive encountered in each sim but i wasnt sure if it was reoccuring and it is...in the 2007 season the allstar game is marked for 7/11/08 on the quick link/date ball drop down menu...the game is played after the season is over and i dunno if it is even actually played b/c it is marked 2008. obviously we all know the AS game is played in mid july of the current season
cubby any thoughts?

found another problem with stats...in the 2007 season i had 2 pitchers in the league throw 300+ innings from the bullpen...one of them ended up with 60 decisions plus 7 saves...not sure wut is wrong with this...does anyone no how to take screenshots of the comp, like exodor did, so i can post it on the board?

We know about the All Star game problem, still trying to figure that one out. As for the relievers, I'm guessing the teams were still human controlled, lost most of their relievers, and so were stuck with only one or two for 2007, thus giving them all of the innings.

Its a great piece of work, well awesome, but there are issues with some of the pages still. I dont have these issues with Cubby 6.5. Any ideas whats happened, its on the homepage of your own team and in the SION pages.

Did you allow the cpu to make transactions because if you did not fix that and the cpu is not allowed to make transactions then you will see things like that as the game is not replacing injured players and thus those who are still on the active roster will continue to pitch to fill those innings that the injured starters would be pitching.

This is because Kinsler has incorrect major league experience and needs to have it reset to 0, as the game thinks he needs to be resigned to a free agent contract instead of getting an automatic resign

I think this got lost so Im going to post it again.

Why is the Create and Maintain Hidden players option selected and grayed out. I don't want this, is there any way of removing it?

I think I actually answered this earlier...The Mets are correct in your set. I'm not sure what the poster is asking you to do.

There are a few things regarding the minors setup I might suggest though. Feel free to ignore any or all of it, as most of it won't matter to most people:

The Texas League is actually divided into North and South divisions. North = Arkansas, Springfield, Tulsa, Wichita. South = Frisco, San Antonio, Midland, Corpus Christi.

The Southern League is actually divided into North and South divisions. North = Chattanooga, Carolina, West Tenn, Tennessee, and Huntsville. South = Montgomery, Mississippi, Birmingham, Mobile, Jacksonville.

Midwest League - Quad City should actually be Quad Cities.

In the Sally League, Kannapolis should be in the Southern Division, and Greensboro should be in the Northern.

In the NY-Penn League, State College and Williamsport are in the Pinckney Division. Also, Mcnamara should be McNamara.

Pioneer League - The Provo Angels should be the Orem Owlz.

Appy League - Greenville should be Greeneville.

The Appy and Pioneer Leagues are rookie leagues, but are at a higher "level" than the GCL and AZL. I guess there's no way to make that distinction in OOTP though. It's weird for me to see the Reds affiliate in the GCL listed before the Pioneer league affiliate, but I could get over it.

The AZL seems to be missing the Padres team. I would rename the Arizona League Teams to "AZL Whatevers."

The GCL seems to be missing the Indians team. They are in the North. I would rename the GCL teams to "GCL Whatevers." The divisions are actually called "North, East, and South." (yeah, that's really nitpicky!)

Btw, I found Joey Devine, he was designated for assignment. After I got the message stating I had players there, I found him.

Thanks for this! Will put these all in tonight, I keep forgetting about players being DFA so I'll fix that now.

The man of the hour is WHarris13, who has fixed EVERY team's colors and will be sending me those in a bit. A big shout out to him for doing that for me.

OOTP2006 doesn't allow an odd number of teams. I would have moved the Indians to GCL since they are new this season, allowing an even number of teams without creating any.
