Lost defensive managing options

During the last game I played, I lost the option to make defensive choices around the 7th inning... all it presented me with was "1 - Continue". Ordinarily I'd be able to Pitch Around and so on. I also couldn't position infielders or outfielders, which seems to be a similar problem to this post: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...hlight=defense

Offensive strategy worked fine... I could make choices normally, but when I returned to defense I still only got "1 - Continue"

Anybody else seen anything similar?

UPDATE: It happened again two games later in the bottom of the 6th. This time I messed around to see if I could restore control and went into the Options & Stats tab where I noticed my pitching strategy had been changed from me to the manager spontaneously. A little irritating, but at least now I know how to get control back.
