No ,the overall rating of each boxer stays the same, but you have the 5 career stages , so if you play with the aging system on,and start each fighter at the beginning of his career,it will progress thru all the career stages, depending on how many fights you have in each stage, which you can also edit. So with that said ,lets say a boxer rated as a prime 7 ,would be slightly better than,a post prime 7,or beginning 7,but thats just on paper, upsets can and will happen

Options>aging, then make sure the auto agiing feature is check marked, and also when you get all your fighters in your uni,hit the activate auto aging for each fighter button.

Public Beta 2.0.25 available! (EDIT: 2.0.27 now)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally! The patch to version 2.0.25 is now available as a PUBLIC BETA.
It includes the latest fighter database, auto-aging, a completely revamped and customizable ranking method, an additional group field for fighters, a much faster auto-scheduler, and a bunch of bug fixes.

Please keep in mind that this is a beta version. I suggest you make a backup copy of your databases before you install the patch. Or just copy the whole program directory or burn it on a CD. We've tested this patch with several testers for a long time, but the latest (minor) changes have not yet been tested in-depth. I just want to be sure so I emphasize that this is a beta version

Those of you who are running TB2 without Direct3D due to problems with the graphics, please try to start TB2 in full (normal) mode again. It should work on all graphic cards now.

Download here: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/tb/tb2setup.exe

If you want to play test the new features:

- Make a backup copy of your TB2 program directory (and leave the original files where they are)
- Download and install the patch into your TB2 program directory
- Start TB2, open the Game Options screen, and select your database
- On the Game Options screen, activate auto-aging if you want to use it
- On the Game Options screen, select the new ranking method if you want to use it

List of changes since 2.0.15:

- fixed: after editing history records, fighter information has been last (last 5 results and so on)
- fixed: "random referee" sometimes choose an inactive referee
- fixed: "copy options from main event" will not copy title-fight settings
- you can now always edit the career stage field of the rating records. If CS Adj. is checked, the career stage will be "used". If CS Adj. is not checked, the career stage value is only functional.
- less "1" counts when a fighter has been knocked down. The referee will count to "2" sometimes, but more often to 3 and so on.
- auto-aging
- added new ranking method, parameters in db.ini
- the auto-scheduler is faster now (optimized the templates handling and the screen displaying for speed)
- fixed the "lost buttons/lost images" bug
- implemented function to convert ranking from old method to new method
- added second Group field to fighter table
- added group filter to stats screen
- improved the import functions to fix the "no rating record found" bug
- added: German language
- fixed number of rounds in tournament bug
- fixed several bugs

Please give us some feedback in this thread. Thank you!
