OK im a noob but HELLLLLP!

ok i been playing version 6.5 and just realized that ootp2006 is the newer game, so now i am going to start all over and play the 2006. so i go get the patch but cant seem to patch it in =( I keep getting this when i run the patch

could not locate OOTP Baceball 2006 installation folder, please brows and open ootp2006.exe

ok so i brows but cant find it in my folder where the game instaled to=(

what am i doing wrong and should i install the 2006 game over ???

If you downloaded the game today, the patch should already be installed with the download.

Did you download and purchase the original OOTPB2006 game? You can't patch version 6.5 with 2006, if that is what you are trying to do.

I bought both version 6.5 and ootp2006 about two weeks ago. Now the newiest game is ootp2006 right? cause i want to play the newiest version of the game. so the patch should be added in the game already if i bought it two weeks ago? when i run the game it says in the upper left corner that its version 6.12 is that the newiest version. sorry if im sounding confused but i am lol

all i want to do is play the newiest game with the newiest patch and such lol

Meltz....You're talking about 3 different games.

ootp6- is what you are running if you see 6.12 in the upper left.

ootp6.5- is the next game after ootp6 which you have to pay for also, 10 bucks. It would show 6.51 in the upper left.

ootp2006- is the last version and newiest, I mean ,newest version of ootp. You also have to pay for this version. It should show ver 1.01.12242 in the lower left side of the screen if you have the patch installed.
