Waiver Wire
Great game guys - It has taken me some time to get acclamated to the new stuff but I am loving it! Those of you who are flaming about it read some of the manual and look at some of these forums and spend a few hours with the game and you will adjust and enjoy it.
2 items I am not sure about: 1) - Is there a waiver wire? - How do I find it? 2) - I know there is no trading block and I would love to have some way of shopping players - Even if it is not like the old system if there was a way of sending an email ot other owners just to see if they would have any interest in one of your players. I think it is realistic to believe that gm's around the mlb have a reasonable idea of what the other teams in the league are shopping! I'm sure I will find more questions and have more thoughts but this is officially my first post!

If it isn't there, maybe you don't have it turned on in game options. |

Whatever league you're in Texas minor league for example. You click TEX then transactions then look across the top of the screen and you'll find waiver wire.
Yeah I was a flamer and the more I've played it the more I've come to like it. I still get crashes at the leave button after completing the game (and actually quite a few other bugs) but I've logged them in tech and they've responded they've logged them for a future patch so it's just a matter of time. |

Its not there in my league?
Do you have to do something special in the league setup? I also do not have a minor league system I only have a reserve roster - I imported Cubbyfans roster set? Help please! Thanks! |

Under Game/Game Setup, click League Setup tab. On the right, select Rules Tab. Under Roster Rules, you will see Waiver Period Length. Set this to something. I'm not sure what the "right" value is, but that's where you go. It should say rule disabled before you set it.
Anyone know what the MLB value is for Waiver and for DFA? |

It appears waivers are only tabbed for the top league. When starting my league I checked Japan before the US, so Japan is listed first in the league drop downs. No biggie, except the Nippon leage is the only league with a waivers tab on the transaction page. I checked the league settings and MLB and the MEX league both have waiver wires set for three days, but only the Nippon League has the Waiver tab.
