Is there a problem with the servers on OOTP

I cannot purchase OOTP 6.5 cause it says there is an error on the server and that an internet connection could not be made?

That would be the eLicense servers that it's referring too. It should have given you an error code, which can help determine the root cause of the problem.

Frequently the problem turns out to be the firewall on the purchasers PC is mistakenly blocking the license servers attempt to connect to the machine.

He's right; sometimes people have solved that problem by dropping their firewall for the few seconds it takes to get a license.

I tried turning off all protection that I have and it still will not work.

Any other suggestions..

Ive called there support # all day long...

Try emailing them, I've never failed to get a response w/i 24 hours(your mileage may vary).
