Should a pitcher with 10 stuff 10 control 10 movement dominate?

I have a AAA pitcher who has actual ratings of 10 stuff 10 control 10 movement and either 9 or 10 stamina with a 100+ mph velocity. He was 23-5 with a 2.08 era in AAA this year. I am considering trading a veteran pitcher who wins 17-20 games every year for me, and bringing him up. Should be dominate right away with maxed out actual ratings even though he's a rookie? I brought Jered Weaver up to start the 2006 season and his ratings were 10 9 10 and he was 25-3 with a 2.19 ERA with 271 K's in his rookie season. He won the ROY and CY Young award. He repeated this season with a 25-1 record with a 1.91 ERA. Should I expect these kinds of immediate results with this 10 10 10 pitcher?

Side Note: My pitchers are all 20+ game winners, so I have to lose one to bring this AAA SP up.

Um, yes, bring him up immediately. Trade away the oldest pitcher with the lowest ratings.

I'd do it. Get rid of your oldest, most expensive pitcher and replace him with this guy.

The game is ratings-driven, so yes your young pitcher should do well on your insanely overpowered team

I think he should turn this guy into a hitter, it worked for Babe Ruth.

I would bring this guy up and move your worst vet. Now, by "worst", I don't necessarily mean the guy who isn't winning as many games, for Joe Morgan I am not. I would entreat you to take a look at each players' ERA or, even better, K/9, BB/9, and HR/9 when making that decision. Or heck... throw darts at a board. If you've got a kid on your team who just went 25-1, you replacing one ace with another probably won't cost you a ticket to the World Series every year for the next 10 years.

How old is your AAA pitcher?

Since you're asking for advice: I'd probably quit the league and start over with some stricter house rules or a smaller-market team.

As for the AAA pitcher, he should be in the bigs. Either bring him up or trade him for something that you need.

I would deal away Neiman. He's just killing your team ERA!

That's a pretty nice pitching staff there.

I would have brought up a guy like that a while before he reached those ratings. Now that he's there, he should be quite dominant and a top contender for Rookie of the Year. Trade your most overpriced/worst starter.

It depends on if the ratings are on a scale of 1-10 or 1-100. Because if it is 1-100 then he will not be any good.

Um, doesn't the game get boring for you like this?

I believe he asked if he should bring the pitcher up. He didn't ask to be barraged by people telling him that his league is far too easy for their definition of "fun".

If the relievers on your team win the same percentage as your starters, then your team will win 144 games.

Who the **** cares?
