The disappearing Commish scenario is much rarer, but also more disconcerting, since that p!sses off >20 other people. Can you say "car wash"?

The divorce one is priceless. I've seen quite a few retirements (not just in my league) saying they were tired of the game (particularly OOTP6). Hopefully 7 can bring some of these guys back.

I agree, most are pretty lame though. Best one I got was, "My team is losing and I don't have any draft picks." Of course they had traded the picks away but that didn't matter to them.

i had to post it on the front page of my site and from the response to the email i sent (which consisted of....Are you serious?), the game was in a divorce decree and they both wanted it and the judge ordered him to purchase another one and he didnt have the money........i laugh at it now, but then i was stunned. I have seen some REAL good ones in the 9 leagues i run

time managment comes in handy when you are as ggod at it as i am. however, real life does take over as the top spot as i will begin teaching soon and will be letting 4-5 leagues go

its not as tough as you may think tho. it is tough when some GM's dont understand that i can cater to them every 2 seconds for things they can do by themselves but dont want to lol

I don't care what the reaosn is as long as they let you know. there's nothing worse than someone joining and quitting and not telling you. that REALLY pisses me off

The best excuse ever is someone in my Madden 2002 league quitting because they had to serve a three month jail sentence. sure enough, after the three months was up he wanted back in. He was a good owner so I let him, he did his crime, served his time, and has a right to be a productive member of society again.
