Having origins include towns and states/provinces
hey all
as the title says i'm looking to see if OOTP can call from a list of towns and cities to have as origins for newly created players. Anyone ever tried this or had any luck at it?

Use the Origin Generator utility. There is an origins only version kicking around out there, as well as the full version. It does a good job and is fairly painless.

The easy work around is to sort the players_general.csv by origin, open Blueturf's origin maker and copy and paste (special, paste valeus) into your csv and save.
But someone else can probably tell you how to fix your issue. |

Just making sure I'm on the same page because I don't want to make suggestions to do things you've already done.
You have a league folder: My League.lg Inside of it there is the Originator.exe file. The players_general.csv file is in the league's main folder as well. There is also a sub-folder named OriginData with various *_fnames.dat, *_lnames.dat and *_origin.dat files. Last edited by gubaru; 06-27-2005 at 12:11 PM. |

Do all the files listed in the defdata.dat file exist in the OriginData directory?
