About to run Cato for the first time, a few questions...
Before I run Cato I have just a few questions regarding the options...
1. League directory?? The Directory where my league file is located correct?? 2. Data Directory?? Is this where I want the html stuff that Cato creates to go? 3. Webpage Directory?? I have the same question about this as for the Data Directory. 4. Output Options Team & League pages?? The option for current year only, the default has it checked but what is recommended for this?? Thanks in advance. |

2. no, this is the directory that the program will store the CSV files after the exporter has been run. 3. This is where the html pages will go after you create them. 4. If you're going to output the webpages after every season, then it's highly recommended to leave it checked. However if you want to run off ten years real quick, import the season after each year is over and then you can unclick that box and it will do all of the seasons stored in the database. Be warned that it takes a much longer time to recreate all of the webpages.

Did you export the league file in OOTP?
Did you download the JoeCommish exporters with CatoBase? Did you leave the data directory default? I usually creat a folder on the desktop called history and then the data and html files default to that folder

I'm pretty sure the answer to the first 2 is yes, lol. I did not leave the data directory default, I thought that was something that could be changed.

Cato sometimes does not like long directory names, so that may be your problem.

The directory name wasn't very long at all, it's C:\Marc's Stuff\PBA Not sure why it's doing this it just says that it can't find file C:\Marc's Stuff\PBA\league.csv |

Well I set the data directory to default like Carlton suggested and it seems to be working *fingers crossed*. Just one more question (unless of course another error occurs lol). Can I play my solo league while catobase is running??

I'm having the same problem, but leaving the data folder as the default doesn't help. It seems to me like the exporter isn't doing it's job. Anybody have any suggestions?
