How do I start an online league?

I want to run a league with a friend in another city. We both own OOTP6. I bought space on the server. In my version of the game, in "Online League Setup", I have inputed the required information. Now what do I need to do to start my league? It is named Fantasy League Baseball/FLB.

You would probably have a lot more success getting answers if you post this in the Discussions or Online forum.

I'd also suggest that you play in one for atleast one year before trying to start one.

Not a bad idea to play in a league first to at least get the feel of what you like and don't like so you can get off and running once you crank up your own league.

I played in a few leagues around for 6-9 months (might've been a year) previous to starting our league and lurked in a WHOLE lot more.

Also, to do it right, in my opinion, set aside a couple of months (less if you don't work) to get the website and system nice and ready to roll once you start signing folks up. Of course, if you're more web proficient than I am (likely), it may go faster. Bottom line is the more prepped you are, the smoother it goes, and the happier your GMs are.

G'luck with whatever you do, and if you haven any specific questions, feel free to hit me with a PM. I'd be happy to help.

To start a league you must first be able to take lots of pain, sacarsm and like sharp objects thrust up your rectum. LOL

Actually join a league and then get with the commish to learn what needs to be done, then see if you want to do it!!

There's also a slight chance that he copied that quote from another post into his signature, finding it so outlandish and ridiculous. A slight chance.
