Historical League Import - Fielding Ratings
Is there anything posted about how certain ratings are calculated when importing historical leagues?
I ask because when I imported a league all of the infielders on a particular team had ranges that were pretty dreadful. No one over 50. Arms were also pretty bad. None of their historical fielding percentages were particularly bad. And all of them are decent to good in real life. I was wondering if range and arm are sort of randomized and I just got unlucky. Or maybe they are based on stats and that's just the breaks. Last edited by daveyk; 10-13-2004 at 07:09 PM. |

Many things are imported randomly and are not historically accurate. Much research and editing are required if you want realistic ratings.
Also keep in mind OOTPB does not totally recreate historical leagues...some great players will only develop into average, fair or mediocre players...while some average, fair and poor players might develop into great players. But overall will play as in real life. This is a very good thread on the subject. http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...+range+ratings Last edited by Eugene Church; 10-14-2004 at 03:37 PM. |
