lahman data base

I just downloaded the lahman data base and was wondering if someone could help me on how to install it?Would really appreciate the help.Is the lahman data base the most extensive real life roster for OOTP5?If not could someone point me in the right direction??

Lahman is a database of historicaln stats used for historical leagues, for current leagues you're better off with a roster set like CBLCardinals'.
