Question Pinstripes

When I want to put pinstripes onto a jersey in photoshop for a player photo, what is the best way to do it?

Whenever I do it... it definately looks like they were put on later, and stand out in the picture.

If you don't want them to stand out as much, here's what I usually do, and the same goes for text....

Apply a slight gausian blur to the layer. If you are working with a 150x150 image, and you dropped say a dozen pinstripes on it, maybe all 4 or 5 pixels wide, a gausian blur of anywhere from .2-.4 will probably do the trick, but then again I'm not looking at your image so just play around a bit. You could even change the opacity of the pinstripe layer, maybe drop it down to 90% and see what you get.

You could try either of those, or both, to get the effect you are looking for.
