Getting HOFers to show?
I downloaded the file off of BBSC and I wanted to get the HOFers to show but when I goto the ALMANAC and look, there aren't any HOFers, nor retired players. I unzipped it into the league news box folder, and that didn't work. So I also put the .txt an the records.dat in my league folder. Neither of the 2 worked.
Any help is apreciated...

It has been awhile since I used the files that add in all the baseball history stuff...ala HOFers and all the lists of 20 game winners and previous award winners....but I know that if the file you are downloading doesn't have the retired.dat file....you aren't go to see anyone in your HOF.....
If I get the chance...I'll start a league tonight and go thru the entire process to refresh my memory... |

I just browsed BBSC. Make sure you AngelinOF's Hall of Fame file. That is the file that is the retired.dat with the players who were in the HOF as of 2002. There is another file that is the same thing but the players are not inducted yet...that was in the career top 25 leaderboard file.....
Once you are sure you have the retired dat file mentioned above....just place it in the main folder of the league that you want to have them listed...then go back in the game and go to the Almanac section....take a look at the HOF now...and the retired players sections and you should see them show up.... |
