This is a situation that arose in a game I detail in Computer cheating (Part I), but it has also happened on other occasions. Both teams are going deep into their rosters. I sneak a peek over at the opponent, to see which of his relief pitchers are tired. Some are, and deservedly--I click on them, see that they are listed as tired, and that they have pitched a lot in recent days. So I work my line-up (pinch-hitting, etc.) to try to get into the tired part of the opponent's bullpen... only to discover, when these pitchers get into the game, that they are no longer tired!
This has happened on numerous occasions. What's up with that? |

You can do this do.. if you put one of those tired pitchers into the game the game won't show them up as tired... but they still tend to be slightly less productive, they just don't come in and show up as red right off.

I hear you--and that's what I thought myself--except that whereas earlier in the game these same pitchers had a "Health Status" of "Tired" on their General page, once in the game "Health Status" shows as "OK."
I mean, you might be right about what is going on (although these guys come in and pitch suspiciously well), but, at the least, their reported "Health Status" should not be improving. |
