Created fictional league, but can't sim

Created a fictional league, ran the draft, organized my team. When to sim first day, and got an illegal operations msg w/ these details:

OOTP5 caused an invalid page fault in
module OOTP5.EXE at 015f:00679a56.

We need some details of your system, etc? As much detail as you can provide will be of help.

Consider either reinstalling or updating DirectX, too. That might help.
