Trade help (my first ask)

My starting rotation is (with player rank)
2 Skubal
5 Sale
7 Crochet (out for Season)
8 Webb
13 McClanahan
UR Harrison.
I could trade my 5th (outfielder, Lawrance Buttler, on my team, not the league) for 99-rated starter Evoldi. No Brainer, but I would have to move someone to the bullpan. Is it worth getting the talent and figuring it out, or walking away because he would be a bonus acquisition? I lean towards making the trade because I like starting pitchers. There is no 26-man issue. I am playing the 2026 season.

Can never have enough pitchers. You already have 1 injury. Do the trade, Harrison to bullpen.

Or play with a six-man rotation for awhile. Less wear and tear on everybody's arm. Either way, that is an awesome pitching rotation. You only will have to hit a little bit.

I made the trade. But then the baseball gods intervened, and I lost Skubal for the season.

I'm rather late to the party here, but i may have suggested using an opener foregoing any trade. Sucks the loss of Skubal. (Tigers fan)

Small and anecdotal sample size, but I am seeing more SP major injuries. And I play with major injuries set to low. Maybe just a run of bad luck? It does make team (and system) pitching depth more important.
