OOTP 25 Patch (Version 25.11.103) Update Available!
Important: This patch is only for OOTP 25 versions which were purchased directly from our webstore or resellers who use our Fastspring / QLM version. Steam users, please update from within the Steam client.
Hi everybody! We are releasing the patch officially, incrementing the build number to version 25.11.103. This build fixes some issues with online leagues, and we are releasing it officially now. Thank you for your patience. Note to online league members: This update is compatible between versions. It is highly recommended for league commissioners to update to this version, however for the full fix both commish and regular league members should update Changelist 25.11.103:
Update Info for our webstore customers: To apply the update, simply download the setup file and install it over your current installation. There is no need to uninstall or unlicense your current copy! However, you should quit the game before installing it, of course. Updates always contain all the changes from previous updates. Saved games are compatible between different versions. Download link for Windows PC (Fastspring Webstore Version): Main server: PC Installer Mirror: http://ootpdevfiles.com/ootp/25.11.103/ootp25setup.exe Here's a PC installer (Fastspring) that installs into a single folder, which is useful for external HDs for example. Or for creating a second test install of the game, so you can try the patch out without the risk of messing up your main install of the game if something is wrong in the patch: PC Single Folder Installer Download link for MacOS (FastSpring): Main Server: MacOS Installer Mirror: http://ootpdevfiles.com/ootp/25.11.1...5Installer.dmg Thanks again, The OOTP Team |

How do I uninstall this public beta file version? Since I installed it, the downloading has been getting slower and slower. Now it has stopped altogether, the yellow progress bar hardly moves and after five minutes or so it just comes up “Error: could not download file”
I have changed every setting I can think of

Neitherfot hese work for me. One just gives me a folder of the files (and no setup .exe) and the one just sits there and cranks.

Yeah, guys..... mine is not working anymore either after this update and I'm not too thrilled about that. Did something change within the facegen process? I only ask that because that seems to be different with how it's loading on my machine since this update AND when I had crashing issues on this same machine a few years ago (maybe OOTP22 or OOTP23?) whichever developer fixed that issue said it was something within the facegen then too. Here's my current problem.... I play out my games. So when I'm on my main manager's screen I go up to the "play" menu in the top right corner. I choose to option to play that given game. Upon doing this, it loads up that game-preview screen where it shows both your roster / lineup and your opponents roster / lineup, but as it's loading this screen it shows up top that it's importing or loading a few face gen files for maybe 4 or 5 of the opponents players. The weird thing though is that those players already have face gen files loaded, and I know this because I confirmed it in my efforts to troubleshoot the problem. It's not the whole opposing team that it does this for, it's just a few players and it says something along the lines of "loading face gen for..... (and it scrolls a few player names)" up at the top of the screen as it loads up that game preview screen that I mentioned. Once the game preview screen loads up, everything seems fine and I can tweak my lineup and get all set to play. But as soon as I click "start game" up in the top right, I immediately get like 1 second of crowd noise and then an immediate crash. It's happened every single time since the update. And I've tried reinstalling the update. I personally do not recall it doing this weird thing with loading a few opposing players face gen files prior to this update. Maybe I'm wrong, but I really don't recall it doing that. And what strikes me as weird is if I reboot and prior to trying to play a game I go to my opponents team page and check their face gen files for ALL of their players, they all have facegens loaded in already. But then as soon as I try to play the game and it loads up that game-preview screen it will again tell me it's loading face gens for a few guys. Everything I just said could be me over analyzing something that's irrelevant to the crash --- but I'm 99% certain it did not do this before the update and I'm 10000% certain that when I had crash issues a few years back it was in fact related to something with how it was loading facegens. Is it duplicating face gens or something? Or is it getting conflicting face gens and that's causing a crash? I'm assuming this is something that only I'm experiencing right now, but I'll tell you for a fact that this game ran perfect prior to this update. Any help here? I'm really not looking to lose my save. |

Fixed (hopefully).
If anyone is using an NVidia GeForce video card and is having crash issues, check this thread.... The "sky_box" fix seems to solve the problem..... https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...55#post5165255 My problem was I had not played OOTP for a little while. Last time I played OOTP I was still on a previous OOTP version, so when I did the OOTP update tonight and ran into a problem, that's right where I assumed the issue was. Turns out because it's been a while since I last played, my video card has updated drivers a few times as well and that seems to be where the issue came in. Anyways.... all appears to be good. Haven't posted here in a while so I hope all has been good with everyone! Last edited by md40022; 02-17-2025 at 08:48 PM. |
