Is there a way to manually add an existing player to a league's draft pool? For example, a junior player to the NHL Draft pool?

Yup, with commissioner mode on go to League-Edit and you'll see "Create a New Player" as an option on the bottom left. Create a player with the right age (for the 2025 draft, a 2017 birth year and a birthday before September 15), and set the current ability in the 1-2 rage and potential wherever you want. Then once the player is edited, edit his current and contracted team to something appropriate, preferably a league NHL teams are likely to scout. His NHL rights should also be set to none, but that should happen automatically,

What if I want to add a 2007 player currently in the CHL, but isn't showing up in the draft pool to start the game?

You can probably import them via the add historical player tab in commissioner mode. Just add them at the right age for the draft.

I know there is a way, let me respond when I have the game open and can figure out how I did this.



I specifically remember importing a bunch of legends as teenagers and having to wait until they were draft eligible

I'm trying to add current players to the draft pool. For example, a draft-eligible player currently playing in the OHL, but isn't showing up in the draft pool when the game starts.
