Need help in downloading logos
Not good with computers.
I would like to download logos that you guys design so well on this website, but need help to do it. I have downloaded logos from the websites that have a "download" selection. How do you get the logos that are designed in this section (Mods)? Is it possible to download them when someone designs them for you? If so, how? Please give step-by-step instructions...assume I know nothing. Thanks. |

1.) Find the logo you want to download.
For this example, lets say you want to download the Cleveland Chiefs logo I made for goroyals: |

2.) Take the mouse cursor (the little white arrow), and move it so it is on top of the picture. Right click on it. You should see a list of options appear. Clcik on the one (it is highlighted in blue) that says "Save Target As..."

3.) If done correctly, this pop up box should suddenly appear on the screen.

4.) Go to your OOTP5 folder, and select the league you will be using this logo with (i.e. Career 2003.lg), open that, and find the folder that says "Logos." Open that folder too.

5.) Find where it says save as type, and make sure it says Bitmap (*.bmp). Next, click where it says chiefs. Delete that, and type logoX. To find X, open OOTP5 (I assume you know how to do this, therefore I will not provide screenshots), and go to the team setup, and just above the ballpark picture, it will tell you logo1.bmp or whatever.

6.) The final step is to save it:
If you have any questions, or this isn't step by step enough for you, or I am too confusing, let me know and I will do my best to help you out. I did this rather fast, so I hope it's not too confusing or unclear. Last edited by dbacks; 06-02-2003 at 12:54 PM. |

dbacks, you are a great guy to help all of us computer-challenged and OOTPB Newbies. Thanks for your splendid help.
Incidentally, you design excellent logos, too. |
