Question about Association Setup & Options

I'm creating a new, hopefully long, save that has 7 state leagues(CA, WA, OR, AZ, ID, NV, and HI) and a Western States Professional Baseball League Association. I've taken 3 weeks just setting up the individual leagues and am now doing the same with the Association but have a few questions at this point.

I'm not doing the "Enable Shared Amateur & Inaugural Draft" option because I would like each state league to draft from their own player pool and then once players hit FA they can sign with teams from any of the leagues. Are there any other options I should pay attention too, other than the one allowing players to sign with other leagues/leagues to sign players from other leagues when doing it this way?
For the draft settings the default is 12 rounds and the "Generate Players for X Rounds" is 13 but with this being the inaugural draft and having to fill the rosters of 1 major league team plus 3 minor league teams is there any reason I couldn't make the number of rounds 100+ so all the teams draft all the necessary players to fill all their rosters so no backfill players need to generated?
