History/Transactions Log

I'm not 100% sure if this is a bug, but wanted to be sure this was reported accordingly. It appears the league Transactions Log and player histories are not updating.

Context: I began a new game using V45 in Commish Mode. Using the Force Trade option, I recreated the SD/CWS trade for Dylan Cease.
- no entries were added to the transactions log
- no entries were added to player histories for any of the five players involved
- the "how acquired" section on the left side of a player's info panel does update to show the trade, but that it all

In the past, these items occurred automatically -- especially the transactions log.

Can you check the Game Settings>Global Settings and on the right-hand side, see what the Transaction Log setting is?

Try toggling that and repeating and see if that makes a difference. thx

I have it set to "Keep transaction logs ... All"

Doesn't seem to change whether I have this set to All, None, or either other option.

Curiously, this issue seems to only impact things when I have the game installed on my Windows laptop. On my MacBook, everything appears normal.

Now that is weird. On the laptop, try going to the Settings button on the Start Screen then the Troubleshooting tab and select force reinstallation. Maybe some little piece didn't get installed correctly.

One last update.

On the original Windows laptop, I'm seeing no change and still having the issue. FWIW, sometime playing through my last game on OOTP24 the transactions log broke and stopped updating (3 or 4 seasons into my ongoing save). Perhaps related? I'm now wondering if there's an issue with this laptop in some fashion. Maybe it just couldn't save somewhere?

Tried a fresh install on a different Windows laptop. Everything seems to work 100% fine.

So, fingers crossed this resolved itself, I guess.

On busy days like this nothing beats a “resolved itself”. Very happy it’s working for ya even if the one device has an issue. But seems local versus something to be tracked down by the developers. Fingers are crossed.

What I've noticed is that if I open up the game the transactions log is a blank page. If I then advance one day, the transaction log shows up (and shows transactions for the last several days, not just the one day I advanced.)

If I shut down the game and restart, I am back to square one, no transaction log.

Injury log isn't showing up either.

I would love to follow the directions to report bugs but they are making this way too damn hard. One example is just posting a screenshot.

If I go to the insert image on the menu bar above this message, it asks me to enter a URL for the image. Does this mean I can't save an image on my hard drive and upload from there? I need to first post it on a website and then upload from there?

This is starting to feel a lot more like work than play.

To post an image, hit the "Go Advanced" button below the text box you are typing in. Then to add an attachment from there hit the "Manage Attachments" button, navigate to the image, upload it. If you want to ensure it can be seen, from that advanced tpying screen, hit "Preview post"

Mine keep disappearing in an online league on and off. Literally I can see some transactions, I go to another menu, go back to transaction logs and they are gone. League settings are ALL for transaction logs
