Shopping - same 4 teams always make offers (if anyone)

I'm near there trade deadline in my current season..all year when I offer a player up for trade, if anyone makes an offer, it is always the same 4 teams.



I looked back and it seems it was the same case last season. This has now resulted in those teams offering me draft picks as far as 3 years in the future (where it doesn't even show up in my "team data" history.


Given its been going on for 2 seasons, this has to be some sort of bug,


Anyone else run into anything like this yet?

I do in my historical save. It feels like the first season is always fine, getting lots of different offers for my players, but as I go deeper into the years, there are less and less teams making offers, to the point that last season the only team making offers was Detroit.

I've seen it both while shopping the player, or just having a player on trade block from incoming offers. I've had different type of players but it doesn't seem to matter.

I also see a drastic drop in CPU trading during the season as opposed to during the offseason. Again, first year CPU trades quite a bit during the season, trade deadline is pretty active, then as the years pass, there are almost no trades during season - including trade deadline - and most of the trading happens during the offseason. It doesn't really bother me because those offseason trades are usually the big ones, but just thought I'd point it out.

This is all in historical...could be different during modern day.

I haven't tried historical yet (with FHM 10).


I played around with shopping more tonight and it seems broken. I offered my best player and the same 3-4 teams offered a 1st round pick. I tried several other players of varying abilities and again, same teams usually offering a 2nd or sometimes 1st. I'm not even sure some of the guys I shopped are even worth a 2nd - it's like shopping is stuck.


Considering it look like it happened in the previous season too, I'm not expecting it to fix itself.

For what it's worth I'm in my 5th season in standard mode and noticed the same thing regarding trade frequency
