Why is it that I can't get a screen shot when I go to edit ballpark, 3D model page? It always comes out blacked out. It works during a game.

Never mind. I found a work around and I'm good with it.

Same thing has been happening to me for the last 2 releases. It happens when trying to take a screenshot anywhere in the game. Finally gave up and use Snipping Tool that comes with Windows 10.

What happens if you ignore the menu and press F12?

Well what I did was use the "print screen" key on the keyboard. It still did not work. In fact it was the same results. So, just on a whim, I thought what if I put OOTP in windows mode? I always play in full screen mode. So I did that and shrunk the four corners a bit. Well much to my surprise, it worked. I then loaded that print screen into my photo editing program and cropped it and saved it as a jpg and I had my pic of the ballpark I wanted.

Some modded ball parks don't have day and night pics so I can now copy a pic from the 3D model and make my own. I just took that jpg file and put it in the ballpark folder of the park in question. I could now load that pic when I click on ballpark day.

So that is what worked for me. This is what F12 key does to me. Maybe it has something to do with full screen or windowed. Not sure, but windowed worked.

Another update. I just tried F12 in the game in windowed mode and it didn't work. It only works with the "print screen" key while in windowed mode. That key is right next to the F12 key.

Yes this has been happening for a few versions now and after all this time I found what works for me.

Haven't tried this on the Mac side, but Cmd-Shft-3 does the screenshot job fine for us.

Yes I should have mentioned it was on windows. I have no idea how it works on a mac.
