Players' positions wrong after historical import
When I do historical imports of players into fictional or historical leagues, if their overall rating is low enough, they import with the wrong position, and therefore, the wrong defensive statistics.
Is there a fix for this? Thanks! Last edited by sloanzone; 10-09-2020 at 03:38 PM. |

Are you importing at the very start of the historical players career? Some famous players did not start or were drafted as their MLB position. Lots of MLB relievers are drafted as Shortstops.

In the middle, at the end, retired. None at the very beginning.

The reason I ask this - I am working on a "what if" project - and when I import players, mostly retired ones with low overall ratings, they will come in with the wrong position (i.e. catcher when they were an outfielder). Wondering if one or more of my settings are wrong or what.

I understand. I remember Jim Palmer trying to make a come back I believe in 1991. It is a cool idea.
