Not responding message getting worrisome

Getting a bit concerned about the not responding message I am seeing more and more of in my River Walkers franchise.
I just completed my 2028 season. I started it in 2018 with OOTP19 and have since upgraded to 20 and 21.
I play out every regular-season and postseason game.
Anyway, I am getting a not responding message more and more often, it usually occurs when I advance days.
Eventually, it goes away and the game moves ahead. But it seems to last longer each time.
Anything I need to watch out for or I can do, so that I can avoid it just crashing totally and I lose everything?

Sorry, I don't have the answer.

But, when I read this I thought of my own issues that I posted a few hours ago entitled 'Troubleshooting'.

On one hand my issue appears completely separate, yet, I think I've been observing what you are describing in some of my solo games. I haven't played many of late, but, your message did resonate and I'm quite certain what you described was taking place.

Backup your league

You might save as a template. And restart from there

there's literally too many different things that could be causing this to list.

I would start with verifying that you computer meets all OOTP minimum requirements
