March 26th start with July rosters?

This is a screenshot from a 2020 standard hame on March 28, 2020. If you look at the complete history section of Zach Godley, you`ll find events in the future:
Released by the Tigers 7/13/2020
Signed by the Red Sox 7/18/2020

That means we have July 2020 rosters even when starting the season in March. That`s not ought to be IMO. Is there any way to get the original March 2020 rosters?

It's not really possible, unless you move guys around by hand. The technical challenges were too great considering the relatively small amount of moves. We could've just kept an old version of the rosters in, but that would've lost folks lots of updates to things like players that went in the draft.

Plus, the March rosters really wouldn't have been 'right' anyway as the season stoppage/roster freeze went into effect before teams were able to do their final cuts and make all the movement they usually make just before the season. So we figured better to use more recent rosters, since those likely better reflect what the March rosters 'would have' been, in a season that went ahead as planned.
