Any decent Live 100s?
Opening packs today and my heart jumped when I saw the black and gold and immediately sank when it revealed itself as Ronald Acuna. Are there any decent Live 100 cards?

It depends on what you mean by decent
As far as getting a ton of mileage upward into Gold and Diamond.... no, they will probably need to be upgraded. Great in lower leagues. Can also be very useful in Live tournaments.

Juan Soto's not bad. Like the equivalent of a pretty good gold historical.

Live Mike Trout is better than even some historical 100 cards (e.g. Lynn)

I had Yelich for a year and he played well. Though it was probably a small sample size.

I had Acuna and he was pretty good up until Gold. Then he turned into 25k PP.

My main team is in Gold and uses Arenado as a utility guy.

Trout, Yelich and Lindor in that order. Trout trains well at LF. Lindor decent at 2b. Yelich decent bat against righties.

I think that sadly unless you play Live tournaments, every LIVE 100 is close to a 20k quicksell outside of Trout
It's a little sad that Live cards mainly unusable Last edited by rdt24; 07-01-2020 at 06:53 AM. |

I will never complain about getting 20k from a pack.

Trout's pretty good, the rest of the outfielders are basically fine in a pinch.
In 9 seasons in which I used him in Diamond (just recently got rid of him) Trout had an OPS+ over 100 in 4 of them, and 95 in another. I used Bellinger for 6 seasons, 2 over 100 and 2 more over 90. |
