2 peak Yogis

We got Historical Legend Berra (PEAK) & Special Edition Berra (PEAK)

This...just perplexes me.

OK, best version of Berra. And a special best version, too?

I know there's the "regular" version of the game for realism but shouldn't the cards represent real players?

OK, they both do but are we really talking "roids" Berra in the SE vs. the Legend card or something...

Plus Perfect Team is part of the game and the part of it I'm participating in, not an entirely separate thing.

Anyway, criticisms aside, anyone want to point out the integrity of these 2 cards existing I'm missing.

Special Edition just references the fact that it doesn't come from a pack, it comes from a collection reward or a tournament prize.

The cards are almost the exact same, normally just a few numbers off in either direction for most of the cards that have Special Edition Peak variants and other things. They are just that, special edition cards that everyone has available to them but you have to achieve something (be it a collection or placing in certain tournaments) to get them.

Other players that have peak and special edition cards are the same way (Jackie Robinson has a Peak Negro Leagues card, and a Special Edition Peak Negro Leagues card.)

Yeah, new to 3.0, though is that in earlier version a card was either a specific season or a player's 'PEAK' card. There were 2 '100' Pedro's in 2.0 but one of them was specifically his 1999 season & another his 'PEAK'. That made enough sense to me.

That is not true at all...

Ken Griffey Jr. off the top of my head had a regular 95 peak and then a special edition 100 peak

Alright, whatever...

Griffey, Jr. had two peak cards in 2.0 as well.

My reference to integrity was just that Pedro Borbon did not.
Or other players like him, you know?

Just wanted to point that out, for future considerations maybe. Maybe it's a personal preference or maybe the game would be better if each card was clearly defined...I think there were 2 peak Randy Johnsons? maybe too, Idk, but kind of made sense to me too, bc one was with the d'Backs & one Mariners? Not sure. But the 2 Yogis stood out.

But I already mentioned in another post, not so directly, that the game is surprising.
