Enhanced Depth Charts
Allow starting players to backup other starting players.
Example The only two players on your team that play 1B are at 1B and 3B. You have a backup for 3B that is on the bench. You want the starter from 3B to play 1B when 1B is tired or after x games. Then the bench player will play 3B. |

Agreed
I'm guessing it's hard to program for this & that's why they don't currently have; but, I would also like this.

Agreed. Somehow, MLB Manager allows this, so it must be doable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It just a list the AI has to iterate through when looking for a sub. If player A is injured, look for his backup. If that is Player B, who is already in the game, than change player B to player A position and look for player B backup.
Rinse and repeat. Really should be no different than how it is handled now. If the backup already pitch hit and is not available, the AI needs to somehow find a backup to replace them. The needed code to allow starters as backup is already in the game. The depth chart simply needs to allow them to be listed so the AI can choose them. |

I was about to create a thread suggesting this. I'm thinking like a Javier Baez situation, where the Cubs don't carry a backup SS per se, but Baez slides over when necessary.
