Does this trade make senses

Just started a new save for the Blue Jays, not even played one game in the save, & there was a trade, not sure why the Yanks would give up on Castro so early and he hasn't played a game for them.

The standard game/quickstart doesn't really realize that they just traded for him. I'm guessing in your game they decided that other guys could handle the 2B duties, and felt they needed the upgrade in the pitching staff instead.

Starlin Castro seems to get traded every time at the beginning of an MLB game. Poor guy.

The "trading players just acquired in real life" is one of my biggest bugbears of the AI.

I remember a 2015 quickstart where the Orioles traded Evereth Cabrera (acquired in the off-season) after two games. What's worse, they traded him back to San Diego!
