Exclamation Cant send down My player

I drafted a czech guy 19th overall and he has a lot of potential so under no circumstances can I afford to lose him! He is Libor Hajek and he is a Dman if that helps at all

He played in the Canadian Juniors before he was drafted and I signed him in mid July. Now that the season is around the corner (Sep 15 or so) I must decide who to keep and who to send down. He is not good enough for the team yet (Avalanche) so I tried to give him another year in the juniors but Saskatoon Blades (his junior team) have "reached their foreigner limit".

What can I do? I don't want to waste a spot on this guy who won't play since I'm in win now mode and I dont want to ruin his development. He is 18 years old.

Please help me I am at a loss for what to do, the "Send to AHL" and "Send to ECHL" buttons are not available for him and I couldnt find a way to "loan" him to a minor league team

Unfortunately there is no correct way to do this at this time. It should fall to the CHL team to deal with the problem, but that's not the case right now.

The easiest thing to do will be to go into Commissioner Mode, and either (A) find another team that isn't at their foreigner limit and switch his rights (if you click on the player, there's an edit tab and you change this there) and put him on that team, or (B) edit someone on that team to another team or outright release them so you can send him down.
