Improvements to the 3D

Vid's not out an hour and here's a bitch thread.

No, seriously. Looks excellent and I like the way it's implemented.

Quick, small suggestion: Primary team colors for the pawns rather than red and blue?

WAY TO GO, GUYS! SUPER!

It can even use the jersey colours that you specify for teams as well Or, if you don't want, it can use white and grey for jerseys.

Just curious, does anything occur visually when a pitching change is made....new pitcher runs in from bullpen, old pitcher walks off mound?

Markus, now that we have some decent animation, can we have an option to disable the PbP text?

I'm seeing the 16 for 16 video instead of 3D... Is it still on twitch?

I'd add a little movement to the players not involved in the play. Maybe just a little motion towards the ball at random different speeds (not too much, just highlighting some reaction) would do the trick and improve the overall impression of the 3D.

The more you experience it, the more of that you'll see. For instance, a CF covering (shadowing) a ball hit to RF, as if he's making sure the RF will be there to make the catch.

If playing in 70s era, a bullpen cart comes out with the reliever. Also same era: the guys are coding a Morganna pawn that comes onto the field at random moments. But that pawn will .. um .. need to be styled with .. uh .. frontal protuberances that differentiate it from the other pawns.

Does the wind change the ball direction?

I started reading the previous thread title about Free agents and my eye wandered to this one.

So I got Free Agent improvements to the 3D.

There's an x in top right of the widget but it doesn't work for me.

You could move it mostly off screen (as long as you know which number to press for steal/hit and run etc)
