Yet Another Nagging Injury Thread

Hi guys.

A little disclaimer: I'm more of an OOTP fan who likes to watch a league developing rather than manage a team. However, I decided to make an exception in favor of Blue Jays. This is why I probably never thought of the issue while just observing from the outside.

Injuries are set to 'Normal'. However, it seems like they happen every series to my team. It also shows really "wise" selections of whom should be sent to DL.



Is it like standard to all of you guys, or this game just doesn't like me?
I really wouldn't want to sent injuries to 'Low', all things considered.

That is only 7 injuries from just over a month. Reyes is on there twice I assume for the result if the injury and a few are a few weeks. Not that bad. I've seen so much worse

in my experience, usually by june at least one player's head has fallen off.

Tis true. The 2015 Blue Jays have used 40 players. Week 13 of the 2015 schedule...and they've used 40 players. I wonder how that compares to other teams? CIN has used 40, BOS 39, I could go on.

How many players have you used, right before the 4th of July? If it's not 38-40, it's not realistic.

Tampa has the worst at 44 I believe. It brings up a slightly OT thing but is the real life gap between marginal MLB talent and AAA talent much less than in OOTP? I think so. Good RL teams seem capable of withstanding 2-4 starting player injuries with little effect. Of course that may be my faulty observations.

No way the Mets aren't leading in players used this year. Everybody and their mothers have torn or broken something as soon as donning a Mets cap this year...

Edit: Actually, no. By baseball-reference, they used 37. Actually, 38, if you include Jenrry Mejia, who was hurt warming up on Opening Day and then got busted for sniffing glue or whatever.

Ya, see above. All the Danny Munos, Hansel Robleses, and all that other broken crap mends into a giant blob of fail after a few months.

I would have sworn they were going hard on four dozen, though.

Back to the topic. The OP felt unfairly treated by OOTP. Son, have you seen a real ballgame lately? Three innings are spent just going over both team's disabled list - every day!
