Just completed year 29 in my random debut league(ugh, I do admit to simming around 6 season...got in a rut, but I'm back baby). Back in 1983 the Chicago Brawlers drafted a hot prospect George Brett in the first round and an unknown roster filler named Jocko Halligan in the 3rd round. 23 years later George Brett is the RDL's all time hits leader with 3857. At 41(soon to be 42) he's still active but is now a bench player. Halligan (43) is the everyday RF for the Brawlers and sits in 4th place on the all time hits list with 3021. He is soon to be 3rd as he's only 3 hits behind Miguel Cabrera's 3024. Guess what? Cabrera also played his entire career with the Brawlers.
